چکیده
Abstract We generalize a combinatorial formula of Douady from the main cardioid to other hyperbolic components H Mandelbrot set, constructing an explicit piecewise linear map which sends set angles external rays landing on real axis.

Generalizations of the Fermi-Segrè formula.
2014 A generalization of the non-relativistic Fermi-Segrè formula into a formula which is valid also for angular momentum quantum numbers 1 différent from zero, is derived by means of a phase-integral method. The formula thus obtained, which gives an expression for the limit of u(r)/rl+ 1 as r ~ 0, where u(r) is a normalized bound-state radial wavefunction, in terms of the derivative of the ene...
متن کاملThree generalizations of Weyl's denominator formula
We give combinatorial proofs of three identities, each of which generalizes Weyl's denominator formula for two of the three root systems Bn, Cn, Dn. Two of the three identities are due to S. Okada; the third appears in the author's doctoral thesis, upon which this work is based. Each of the identities we prove has a \sum side" and a \product side"; both sides are polynomials in several commutin...

where k is a positive integer and the left-hand side of (1) is the generating function for the number of partitions into parts & 0, ±k (mod Ik + 1), while the left-hand side of (2) is the generating function for the number of partitions into parts ^ 0, +1 (mod 2k + 1). As Aider remarks, when/r = 2, identities (Hand (2) reduce to the Rogers-Ramanujan identities for which £2,/?(x)=x . Alder showe...
متن کاملGeneralizations of Sherman’s Theorem by Taylor’s Formula
Extensions of Sherman’s theorem to convex functions of higher order and to real weights are obtained by using Taylor’s formula. New upper bounds for Sherman’s difference and generalized inequalities are established. Some related Cauchy-type means are discussed.
متن کاملOn some generalizations of Jacobi ’ s Residue Formula
Using Bochner-Martinelli type residual currents we prove some generalizations of Jacobi’s Residue Formula, which allow proper polynomial maps to have ’common zeroes at infinity ’, in projective or toric situations.
